antaŭ blogoj, antaŭ interneto, estis esperanto...
Mi apenaŭ kredas ĝin, sed estas blog skribi en esperanto kaj persa lingvo ĉi tie. Kaj ŝajnas ke estas multan alian esperanto-blogojn*! -" Mi neniam ĝi pripensis antaŭ. Mi estis sufiĉe bonan esperantiston kiam mi estis malgranda knabo, sed estas multajn jaroj depost mi parolis kun aliaj...Estas mia patro kiu instruis min; multajn tempojn ni vojaĝis en europo por renkonti aliajn esperantistojn, kaj ili visitis nin ankau.
Estas vere ke la lingvo ne estas, kaj ne estos, la 'internacia lingvo' kiu Zamenhof prirevis -" sed ĝi estis ĉiam tre bone metodo por renkonti homoj interesa (jes, mi voli diri ekscentra ;) de eksterlandojn -" ekzemple, ni renkontis nederlandano kiu tradukis spinoza en esperanto; hispanan romanisto kiu estis amiko por multan jaroj; kaj mia patro skribis al homo en ĉinujo kiu faras maskojn por la opero ĉinujo (tiam - 1980 - ne estas facila kommuniki kun ĉinoj). Por multaj personoj, ĝi estis ankaŭ, en landojn kiu eksistas sub registadojn subprema (kaj dum la jaroj 'cold-war') vere ilo de libereco -" la internacia lingvon, ĝi ne estas ŝerco...
Kiam mi venos al londonon eble mi vizitados la grupon tie, mian esperanton estas malbonega, ĉu ne?! Do, mi ekzercos....sed ne estas facile kun la klavaro -" ĉu eksistas Movable Type en esperanto? (Se alian esperantistojn legus ĉi tion, informi min, mi petas vin...)

lol ... ke (Farsi) = that (wonderful!)
the sentence is somehow translatable but what is the meaning of 'ŝajnas'? (i see; it seems; i think / guess or ...?)

if you know a couple of european languages you can easily decipher it ;) yes, ŝajnas = seem/appear (like german schein, OHG scina) : ŝ = sh.

I think it is as plain as the nose on your face, now that you have put this up, that absolutely all televised political debate should take place in this language. I now have a cause!

Oh vell, Reza's Mesopotamian Mithraism was indeed awesome, and if only it had appeared a few weeks back, I would have had time to think to get uptown to hear Persian Classical Music courtesy the World Music Institute. (Of course, I long for Babylon, Mesopotamia, even though that's Iraq.) There probably won't be any more for a few months. Never heard it but once, but is most ravishing of Eastern musics, more than North or South Indian, more sensual by far than Japanese or Chinese, and sounds like intelligent animals at ease with each other in unusual relationships. They've got 20th century Middle Eastern Saturday, but I have no reason to think that could be better than Martha Graham Dance Company--one of the few places where you can remember that 'America' once really existed.
Strange that with all this talk of Iran it took me so long to remember that concert of Persian music 20 years ago. I had no idea it would be so different from Indian, and a dancer of Bharata Natyam told me even she preferred the Persian to the South Indian she danced to.

I like that phrase, in future I'm going to look out for things to which I can attribute that quality.
ps. a old and tired-looking 'Higgins' out of Magnum PI was co-star in Murder She Wrote last week.

I just looked it up and that episode is from 1986, Hillerman born 1932 (Denison, Texas), died 1996. 53 is not young, but doesn't always cause 'old and tired' look, but never saw 'Magnum'. I think Miss L. is too consumed with tidiness in her pre- and post-Broadway periods (who'd ever think of her as Delilah's more attractive sister? but it would be 3 more years before Bardot, flawless creature, would start working...)
