11 charged over 9 December disorder
Detectives
from the Metropolitan Police Service's Operation Malone team have this
afternoon charged 11 people in connection with the disorder seen in
central London on 9 December last year.
They have been charged with a range of offences, including violent disorder and criminal damage.
They are:
Andrew Guy, 21 (dob 23/04/90), of Ramsdean House, Petersfield Rise,
London, SW15, charged with Violent Disorder Contrary to Section 2 Public
Order Act 1986.
Rhys Gray, 21 (dob 20/08/89), of Ennismore Mews, London, SW7, charged
with two counts of criminal damage contrary to Section 1 Criminal Damage
Act 1971.
Kareem Dennis, 24 (dob 23/05/86), of Swinford Gardens, London, SW9,
charged with affray contrary to Section 3 Public Order Act 1986.
Sahim Tasyurdu, 18 (dob 01/01/93), of Colville Estate, London, N1,
charged with violent disorder contrary to Section 2 Public Order Act
1986.
Jonathan Johnson, 20 (dob 04/04/91),of Gowland Close, Croydon, CR06,
charged with violent disorder contrary to Section 2 Public Order Act
1986.
Alfred Meadows, 20 (dob 04/06/90), of Brixton Water Lane, London, SW2,
charged with violent disorder contrary to Section 2 Public Order Act
1986.
Zac King, 19 (dob 19/02/92), of Orchard Street, Somerset, BA16, charged
with violent disorder contrary to Section 2 Public Order Act 1986.
A 17-year-old male charged with violent disorder contrary to Section 2 Public Order Act 1986.
The above eight have all been bailed to appear at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on 09/06/2011.
Three males aged 15, 16 and 17 were also charged with violent disorder and will appear at West London Youth Court on 24/5/11.
A 16-year-old youth this afternoon also received a final warning for
possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis, and affray contrary to
Section 3 Public Order Act 1986.
A 17 year old male received a final warning for Violent Disorder Contrary to Section 2 Public Order Act 1986.
