This experiment is now over...that is to say, by indulging intensely in this preoccupation I have succeeded in exorcizing it, or at least seen it through satisfactorily from its intense form (a blockage, problematic distribution, something that couldn't be ignored, of course) to a known quantity: a better result I couldn't have hoped for. This could now carry on forever without any particular difference being made (and taking up time and resources better spent elsewhere): so, on to something new next year. A careful selection from LBTM will appear on thoughtonfilm.com soon as a sort of closing statement.
