The Future...

Collapse Volume IV, to be published April 2008, will be the long awaited volume on 'Concept-Horror'. Contributors already lined up for what promises to be a truly astonishing volume include leading contemporary philosophers from the UK and France, along with some major literary, science- and weird-fiction authors and contemporary artists.

The theme Concept-Horror is not an invitation to theorise about horror: rather it suggests the horror uncovered through conceptual investigation itself: the horror buried beneath the apparently rational discourses of philosophy and theory, the nonsense beneath sense, the abyssal unground towards which philosophical thought invites us when it dissolves the familiar and the customary.

In 2008 Urbanomic will also be launching a new book series - Check the blog for more news soon...
